Thanks for stopping by my place on the net. My writing career started as a dare and resulted in the publication of my first novel All That Drama. You could have knocked me over with a feather when folks started telling me how much they enjoyed it. I never gave writing another book a thought until I started getting emails from people all over the world asking about the characters I had mostly created.
The mail kept coming in so I went back to my computer and wrote the sequel, Lawd, Mo' Drama. I wrote this book because my readers wanted a happy ending but I felt cheated. I went back to the computer and created Fool, Stop Trippin' which includes some of the characters from both book but done Tina style. The drama series was published by Strebor Books, a division of Simon and Shuster.
In 2008, I decided to self publish a novel that had been turned down due to subject matter. Since I had spent a considerable amount of time writing the novel, I decided to self publish it. This novel is called Dubious. I call Dubious my wild child because I talk about something that happens everyday but people chose to believe that it does not exist. I created Taboo Publishing and this was the first book released under my publishing company.
In 2009, my first book under the Urban Renaissance label was released, Deep Deception and later this year, my second novel, Snapped will be released. So why don't you pull up a chair and read an excerpt or two and if you feel so compelled place an order for my one or all of my books!
If there is one thing that I've learned throughout my writing career, it's being true to myself. Although I try to please my readers, it is almost impossble to please everyone all the time. When I write, my characters become real to me so I've learned to let them do whatever they feel and hope that you like it. So, welcome to my world.
